Stylish acommodation in the Old Town

The building of the hotel Antik is the most preserved three-storied house that was built in Gothic style in the 15th century and then rebuilt in Baroque style and Classicism. You can find it in Dlouha Street, which is the longest street in Old Town [520 metres]. The street was famous for the vast variety of breweries, pubs and wine-cellars. The Raven was the much-frequented place of Charles IV and you can still find it in this street.

In 1890 Josef Vesely was the owner of the house and he opened the shoe-maker and the leather shop there. The house became the property of the present owner and his family in the same year and they have been running it since then. Since 1990 the antique shop has been possible to be visited on the ground floor of the house. In January 2002 the house was completely reconstructed to the present Antik Hotel.

One of all qualities of this quiet family hotel is a garden in his court, which is available for substantial breakfast or agreeable to your relaxation all day long. The hotel serves breakfast table dhote.

You will be pleased to hear we had a good time in your city. The airport transport was excellent, prompt and curteous. The hotel was good value, and everyone was friendly. We were not able to eat at all the restaurants we could find, so we will have to return.

Just a note to say a very big thank you for organising our hotel stay and airport transfers for our trip to Prague - this weekend. The driver who met us made our transfers extremely pleasant and relaxing. Hotel Antik was a very good choice - perfectly located, lovely fresh breakfasts, superbly clean rooms and a lovely size so we felt quite 'cosy'. Could you pass our apologies onto the tour guide who came for us at 1pm on Saturday. When I received your confirmation it stated a 10am pick up - so we assumed the guide wasn't available for the later start we requested. We did try to telephone you to re-arrange but obviously the office was closed on Saturday. We waited for the guide until 10.35am before setting off ourselves. We have all agreed that we will be back and will be happy to recommend TravelCook.com to others

The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were friendly, and location could not have been better. We also enjoyed our private transfers. The drivers were extremely friendly and helpful. We felt safe and comfortable going to and from the airport.Thank you again for your services. We will definitely recommend you to all our friends traveling to Prague in the future.

I have been meaning to write and thank you for all your help in arranging our travel to Prague. My family had a wonderful time. I want to also tell you how wonderful Lenka was! She is an excellent guide and a very nice person. She went out of her way for us and we really appreciate it. You are very luck to have her as a guide. I had another questions. The Antik Bazar was great. I am not sure if Lenka told you or not, but it was very good. There were several dealers there and we purchased quite a few items. One thing I wished I would have bought is a canister set that stores flour, rice, sugar, spices, etc. They had several. I was wondering if you would know how to contact any of the dealers there? I looked on the web site, but since it is in Czech, I cannot read it. I know this is a long shot, but thought I would ask.

We have just returned from Prague where you arranged Hotel (Antik) , airport transfers, and a guide for the Sunday. I would just like to thank you as everything went extremely well, and everybody was on time. The guide who I believe is called Serka was very intersting and knew everything on Prague and was very easy to get on with. The Hotel location was superb and was very clean and we were made to feel welcome. We have had a wonderful time, thanks for your help.

I would like to thank you for your help in making our recent holiday in prague a great success. My wife and I together with our very close friends Mr & Mrs Clark spent a very enjoyable week at the Hotel Antik where everyone was helpful , kind and always pleasant . We will certainly be recommending the hotel to all our friends who wish to stay in Prague . Your taxi drivers who met us at the airport on arrival and who returned us there at the holiday end were equally curteous and helpful. many thaks to them . I would like also to thank you for the guide you arranged for us for our private tour of the city on Friday 11 June . Please forgive my spelling , I think her name was Chargha , if that is incorrect I apologise . She was very good quite clear in her descriptions and a joy to be with . many thanks to her , if she remembers my friend and I were the 2 gentlemen who looked more like 40 than 60 , she was more than kind .. A very beautiful city with so much to offer visitors and people whodid their utmost for us to enjoy our time there
