After reading the other reviews for this hotel we were a bit sceptical, and went to the U Kocku expecting the worst. How wrong we were. Our clean and modern room was very spacious, had 3 comfortable beds and a large bathroom. The views from the window over the city were magnificent. Located just off the Old Square, it is in a perfect location for visiting all that Prague has to offer. There are a huge selection of restaurants and bars within the immediate vicinity, although the restaurant in the Hotel offers a wide choice of meals. We found all the staff to be helpful and informative. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody.
This is a newly renovated hotel excellently located in a bustling side street in the old part of town. The rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated and the staff helpful. On the down side, the steps are very uneven and badly lit and the lift was temperamental.
TOP
